Make your own fun Olympic Mascots, Symbols and Novelties!

OLYMPICS DOVE
Symbol of Peace

This activity involves art/craft and technology. The dove has a 2D effect created by the double head. By using “Kreative Kanvas” a strong model can be created with the added advantage of the wings holding their shape as heat will make the material holds its shape - ie - heat from the hands, hold for a minute or two, or low heat from a hair dryer or fan heater. The pattern illustrated is the basic shape, but children can be encouraged to experiment with the addition of extra tail feathers - as suggested in illustration, positioning the wing, and bending them to improve flight. Kreative Kanvas can be glued, stapled, painted, hole punched, and is a very versatile product.
