This resource is supported by the Department
of Education, Employment and Training and the Institution
of Engineers, Australia. For students the focus is on
the technological content of the three strands of Levels
4 and 5, CSF Technology II. The site also covers the associated
scientific knowledge, and there are descriptions of simple
tests that require little in the way of special equipment.
Engineering and engineers are arguably the foremost users
of technology and there are descriptions of the many fields
of engineering. There are also contributions from many
practising engineers. Many teachers would find the content
of the site a useful source of information for their own
professional development. Currently about half of the
site in online and other sections will be added when they
are completed. (June, 01) |
