Worms
Glue several poms together in a "worm shape"
1 x Chenelle or giant chenelle stick
1 x 25cm pom
1 x tiny pom (nose)
2 x 8mm joggle eyes
Beading wire for glasses and antennae
Fan fold books, using cover paper.
*Note Printed poms are great for worms, cats or spiders.
Glo in the Dark Pom Beadz make great glo-worms.
Cakes:
2 paper plates - either large or small.
Cover paper or 4 sht ticket board,
flanged, glue to 1st paper plate to make the
circumference.
Trim second plate to fit the circle.
Design a cake wrapper relating to a book.
Cake Decoration:

- Dot Pattern, using cigarette filters. |
| Ants |
2 x 25cm printed poms glued together.
Legs, twisted beading wire and a tiny pom for the nose. |

Corny Craft wound with beading wire. |
Ice Cream Cones with Wafers
| Cone: |
Roll and staple a section of a paper plate, or cover paper
into a cone shape.

| Ice-cream: |
Nylon filling. Decorate with "Corny Craft",
dabs of Swirl paint, or Kindy Glitz. |
| Wafers: |
Form a wafer shape into a bookweek character using "Superlite"
then paint and add black curly hair for Harriet. |
*Superlite is an air dry clay, very easy to model, no mess
and will air dry overnight. Good surface to paint. Excellent for
"cake" decoration. Available in a 400gm pack.
Goes a long way.
Bottle
Wrap, Mug or Can Holder.
Fun foam sheets.
Cut the wrap to size, cut a simple design from the foam in keeping
with a book promotion. Staple together, or glue around can or bottle.
